Livorno Music Festival

Since 2011, the Amici della Musica di Livorno Association has organized the Livorno Music Festival and Summer Academy with the support and collaboration of 22 partners. The 16th edition will take place from August 14 to September 8, 2026, featuring more than 24 concerts with 200 artists performing in Livorno’s most culturally significant venues, as well as 30 advanced instrumental and musical interpretation courses led by 35 internationally renowned musicians. The festival promotes international cultural exchange and the training of young musicians of all ages and nationalities. The courses are aimed particularly at graduates, young talents, and very young emerging musicians, with the goal of bringing together artists from around the world and allowing them to work closely with leading figures of the international music scene. Participants also have the opportunity to perform with the artists in the festival’s concert program, both in chamber music ensembles and as soloists with the orchestra, through a selection process.
