Livorno Music Festival

Since 2011, the Amici della Musica di Livorno Association has organized the Livorno Music Festival. The 15th edition will be held from August 16 to September 7, 2025, featuring over 20 concerts in the most culturally significant places in Livorno and 29 instrumental and musical interpretation masterclasses conducted by 36 internationally renowned musicians. These events aim to promote international cultural exchanges and the training of young musicians of all ages and nationalities. The courses particularly target graduates, young talents, and very young talents, with the goal of bringing together musicians from around the world and allowing them to live closely with prominent figures from the international music scene. This interaction gives them the opportunity to perform with the artists in the concert program and, this year, even as soloists with the orchestra through a selection process. This approach creates a real “music workshop” thanks to the close connection between concert activities and training workshops.
